Payment:
If you make a purchase via a direct payment gateway, Shopify will store your credit card details. The details of your purchase transaction are stored only as long as necessary to complete your order. Once your order is completed, the transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the PCI-DSS standard, which is managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of companies like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

- _shopify_uniq: No data retained, expires at midnight (depending on the visitor’s location) on the next day. Calculates the number of visits to a shop by a unique customer.
- cart: Unique identifier, persists for 2 weeks, stores information about your shopping cart.

- storefront_digest: Unique identifier, indefinite if the shop has a password, used to determine if the current visitor has access.
